2006 was a year of grit and determination. It was a year for the most part that I didn’t project to far ahead. “Keeping your nose to the grindstone,” was the phrase that seems to best describe 2006. This past year has been a year where I learned to take small steps, small bites and understand that if I keep moving I WILL get to my destination.
It was sometime during this last year that I came to grips with the fact that I didn’t have to know all the answers. As a matter of fact, I was OK with not knowing “why” to everything. Hard lesson to learn, but the return on investment produced less stress and more peace.
I’m sure in the next few weeks all glance back more at 2006 and realize additional lessons learned. Until then I’m looking forward to the new year with great anticipation.
