If you haven’t noticed there is an explosion going on when it comes to social media. Everyday it seems like there is a new application being unveiled. I’ve found many of these applications useful in meeting new people. I MySpace, Flickr, Linkedin, blog, video blog and the list continues to grow, but nothing beats an old fashion face to face meeting.
Over the weekend I went back and started looking at gatherings in my area using Meetup. I also looked at other networking events that are going on in my area. Who are you meeting in you city and region? How beneficial do you find your face to face meetings? Let me know what you think!
