David:
I did this through a WordPress plugin. Like mdy, I don't know if this can be done on Typepad.
I found that I was always skipping over others' del.icio.us and Twitter links on their blogs, so I figured my readers were doing the same on Bryper.com
This solution works perfectly for me -- and hopefully the reader as well.

Hi David.
To be honest, I skip over the Twitter and Jaiku summaries, although in my case it's usually because I've already received them on my phone.
The exception -- I review someone's Twitter summary if they happen to have live-blogged an event and I wanted to look at what was posted.
I like how Bryan Person handles this -- he removed his summaries from his main blog page and from his RSS feed but they're still on his blog somewhere accessible. I don't know if it's possible to do the same thing on Typepad, though. See http://www.bryper.com/2007/06/04/how-to-find-my-daily-tweets-on-this-blog/
