I had a great time last night at the Louisville Geek Dinner held at the Fox and Hound Pub and Grill. While it was the third dinner organized by Ben Thomas, it was my first. And like the first of anything your uncertain what to expect. However, it was a great event, not to mention an eclectic group of attendees.
It was great to meet, put faces with names and converse with the likes of Shawn Morton of Profilactic, Todd Earwood of Outside the Valley, More Than Derby, and Daily Idea TV. Rob May of BusinessPundit, Entrepreneur Joe Wheeler of Tallulah Cosmetics, Jason Hiner of Tech Republic, the brain trust of SkywayUSA.com, internet marketer and outsourcing manager, Craig dos Santos and Landon and Any Swan of MyTrade.com.
Included in this mosaic of innovators where also engineers and network managers such as Paul Nevitt and Mike Neagle. As you can see the mix was off the wall, but the conversations were fantastic, inspiring and thought provoking. Well done Ben!
