This is my favorite time of year. The crisp morning air of fall and changing colors of nature catapults me in to productivity zone I look at the last few months of the year as a challenge to complete my goals and projects that I have been working on throughout the year. It’s the time of year for me to put up or shut up.
Here are a few tips I use for maximum fourth quarter production.:
Reassess Your Master-List
Review your master-list and determine what areas need your attention. Reassess the things that can either be let go or moved aside versus those things that need a full out assault.
Eliminate the Waste
Pinpoint the areas that have become a collection of waste. Time stealers, distractions, other projects that you’ve taken on that take time away from your master list.
Recommit to Your Projects
A focus individual is a successful individual. Commit to yourself and your projects that they will receive the ultimate amount of attention.
Set Weekly Goals
Break down your projects from now until the end of the year making sure your taking weekly steps towards completion.
Don’t Give In to Outside Pressure
This is the time to silence anything that keeps you from reaching your 4th quarter goal. This area takes some creativity, but with a little fervor and determination you’ll do what it takes to make it happen.
Take Action
You’ve planned, you’ve recommitted, you’ve eliminated waste, now the only way that it will happen is if you take action. You’ve got to move, do sometime. Put on the cape and let your super-hero powers begin to flow.
