I’m passionate about seeing others reach their goals. Watching people accomplish their dreams inspires me to achieve my own goals. However, daily, I talk to people that are unhappy with their careers, employers, and relationships. One common picture that is painted is that of being trapped. One common phrase I often hear is, “If I could just hit the lotto.”

How frustrating it can be when you find yourself in this position. Being stuck can cloud the true realities of where you are really at. I can truly relate to being frustrated, stuck, and overwhelmed by my surroundings, let me give you a few of my tips that have helped me position myself for success.

See IT

The first place to start is with your vision. Success always starts inside. Your ability to create vision and visualize where you going is the foundation to your end result. All successful people, corporations, inventors began by visualizing. If you can never see it happening it won’t. Things just don’t happen. You have to see IT and then move toward it. If your going to change your course, then your going to have to change how your think and see.

Write IT

Next, write down your goals. This will become helpful with your vision. Your ability to plan and prepare begins with a blueprint. Personally, I write my goals down in a notebook that I always have on. In the middle of chaos, it’s good to have your blueprint handy.

Speak IT

Something happens when you can hear yourself “say it.” “I’m a writer,” “I am successful,” “I am ________.” Spoken words create pictures. Pictures create vision and vision invokes action. It’s amazing how a lot of people cannot seem to say out load where there going. Whether it negative results from previous experiences, it’s a struggle that many fight through.

If you can say it out-loud and then say it to others, you are on your way to your destination.

Do IT

Finally, begin walking out what you see, what your wrote, and the things that you’ve have said. It may take some time, but consistent movement will help you reach your goal.
