The State of the Blogosphere

by David Finch on October 27, 2009

Recently, at Blog World Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, Richard Jalichandra CEO of Technorati began his keynote by stating that, “the state of the blogosphere is strong!”

Richard showed how professional bloggers are making an impact, as well as how microblogs are also having an impact. Contrary to what some have said that, “blogging is dead.” Jalichandra shows how blogging is succeeding and what is working.

Richard points out in his presentation that 40% of bloggers have worked in traditional media. While 27% are still employed by traditional media. He also discovered that professional bloggers invest more time and resources.

For all the stats and insight, check out his keynote video and Powerpoint presentation for yourself.
