Never Push Pause!

...Pause? (247/366; 09/03/08)

Yesterday I was introduced to the Insanity workout program. This is by far the most intense workout program that I have ever seen. Newbies to the program feel like they accomplished something if they can make it through the warmup phase.

The key to getting the desired results is to never push pause.

I’m always motivated after I read success stories of companies and individuals that have pushed past obstacles and obtained a level of success. The common denominator between all success stories is that they didn’t know how to push pause.

You want to know how a successful blogger makes it? They didn’t know how to push pause. How do guys like Sir Richard Branson do it? He doesn’t know how to push pause. How does someone like Gary Vaynerchuk turn a $5 million dollar business into a $50 million dollar business? He doesn’t know how to push pause.

They are no quick fixes to a successful online presence. Web traffic doesn’t sustain itself because of one good post. Products aren’t sold just because you have an eCommerce site. Opportuities don’t happen just because you have a Twitter account.

While the level of entry can be fairly inexpensive, online success happens because of a lot of hard work. There isn’t a magic formula. At the end of the day it boils down to being able to produce content that people want to read and then share with their friends.

You can never push pause!

What can you accomplish in the next 60 days if you refuse to push pause?

  1. A new business idea
  2. A book
  3. An eBook
  4. A new website
  5. 5 more clients
  6. Consistent content
  7. A conference

Whatever you choose to do, make sure you just keep moving. If it truly is something that you’re passionate about, you’ll never push pause. You”ll be able to keep the momentum up and reach your desired goal. Then you’ll notice that if you can make it happen for 60 days, another 60 is obtainable.

What could you do if you the “pause button” wasn’t an option?
