Are We Really Connecting?

March 1, 2010 · 3 comments

It’s so easy to keep our head down and become chained to our list of projects and tasks. However, what would really happen if we would seize the opportunities that comes to us on a daily basis.

Maybe it’s a note or comment on a social networking site. It could be an email or phone call. It’s possible that could be an opportunity that happens at lunch, on the bus, or on the train.

This video caught my attention and made me ask myself what opportunities am I missing because I don’t recognize them.

How are you connecting? Are you really acting upon the opportunities that present themselves or are you letting them slip away?

Leave a comment. I would love to hear how your managing your network, connections and opportunities.

pretty cool, david. when people invest time and effort into people [rather than tweets, posts, and texts] the results can be pretty amazing.

I agree… At the end of the day, your activity has to lead to investing in and connecting with people. It's all about the network.
