Recently, GM announced an experimental approach to selling cars. The foundation of this experiment is to maximize the customers experience by creating an environment that looks, acts and feels nothing like a traditional car dealership.
Last night, we went out to one of our favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurants. The food has always been decent, but the service can be questionable. The reason why we continue to go back is they’ve never messed up the food and it’s close to home. However, last night the service was off the hook and we made sure we let our server know how much we appreciated it. His decision to provide exceptional service caused us to leave talking about him.

Creating memorable experiences can sometimes be as simple as keeping drinks filled. At the end of the day though, it’s all about putting the customer first.
Social media is an extension to creating memorable customer experiences. While social media tools can be used as a distribution channel, its effectiveness begins when you engage your consumer.

Great customer experiences are not by accident – They are intentional.
2. Going the extra mile
Memorable moments are created by a business and staff that know how to go the extra mile. Often times, it’s the little things that are executed with excellence that create an unforgettable moment.
3. Be Consistent
Customers that experience memorable moments will become the ambassadors of your business. Make sure you give them a reason to keep evangelizing your business every time leave.
Creating a memorable experience can be the difference between creating an ambassador or providing energy to negativity.
