There’s probably not a week that goes by that I don’t hear someone say why they can’t do something – ” I have an idea, but even if it did work, I can’t because _______. Their negativity crushes any hopes of success before they even begin.
Usually, these are the common limitations that people see as obstacles.
1. Cash Flow
2. Staffing
3. Location
4. Education
5. Time
6. Other People
7. Fear
What if you went ahead and launched that idea even in spite of the limitations?
Here’s a great video to watch and see what can happen when you’re driven by possibilities.
Limitations are only there as long as you dwell on them. Think creatively.
Solutions
1. Cash Flow: Look for innovative ways to generate seed money
2. Staffing: Think bigger than your region in regards to staffing. Everyone is a computer and internet connection away.
3. Location: Everyone has a dream location where they think their idea would work. Make it happen where you’re at. You can always make a move after you’ve established your idea.
4. Education: Not everyone has a degree from MIT. Use what skills you have and build your staff where you have gaps.
5. Time: If it’s your passion, you’ll create time to make it happen.
6. Other people: Make a decision that “the buck stops here” and push forward.
7. Fear: Most fear is conquered the minute you engage your fear and face it.
Whatever you see as a limitation, move forward and build what you dream about building. Don’t limit your thinking when you have a world of possibilities ahead of you.
What do you do to push past limitations?
