“Change is inevitable, growth is intentional.”
Right now, make a decision that you’re going to do something that moves you closer to your goal.
Do one thing that doesn’t involve planning, dreaming or strategizing.
One of the exercises I did in the beginning of the year was define my three words that I would use as foundational pieces of everything I do. The word that I’m building everything upon is “intentional.” For me, I can no longer just cruise through another year. Everything I touch, get involved with, invest time in must be an intentional part of the bigger picture.
My list of intentional items include:
- Social media
- What I publish
- Organizations where time is invested
- How I plan my day
- How I spend free time
- What I do to recharge
- What content I consume from reading to television
- My diet and exercise plan
- My network and relationships
For me to be able to accomplish the things I want to accomplish and achieve, I don’t have the time or energy to invest in things in which I’m not making an intentional choice. For me to grow I must be intentional.
To grow, you must be intentional about your plans.
It’s not too late to make a few adjustments and get back on track.
If you’re ready, then here’s a few action steps that you can do today.
- Review your list of goals, plans and projects.
- List the things that are keeping you from your objectives.
- Stop! Make an intentional move.
- Now, plan out the next seven days.
- Do one thing right now!
No reasons what you can’t do it now!
Push through all that crap and make something happen.
When you’re done… Do it again tomorrow.
You will be surprised by just integrating some intentional habits into your routine, the daily victories that you’ll win.
If this helped you today and gave you a boost, help me and share this with your network of friends.
