Have you ever been sidetracked? Perhaps cruising on the road to accomplishing your goals, knocking off projects one by one, and then like an unexpected tsunami something happens and everything comes to a screeching halt.
You've analyzed and thought what you could have done different until your blue in the face. The bottom line it's time to step up and "get back in the game."
Here is a simple checklist for you to shake the dust off and get your game on:
Let the Past be Past
There's not a person who hasn't wished they could change something in their past. The main component that separates success stories from pipe dreams is the ability to let go of the past and move forward. If you don't start here you will constantly be living in the arena of what could have been.
ReWrite Your Goals
It's always good to not just read, but rewrite your goals. It's part of good positive thinking to see yourself visualizing your potential and goals again.
Recommit to Your Future
Make a mental decision to recommit to your future and purpose. Share your goals and dreams with a close confidant or mentor that can be a source of accountability.
Call Upon Your Dream Team
This is the group of individuals that inspire you to succeed. This could be people within your network, authors you read, speakers you listen to, people you admire.
Take Small Steps Forward
This can be that hardest part of moving forward, but by taking small steps toward your goals it will do wonders. Don't rush or put the pressure on yourself to move to quickly at first. You've been in melt down mode so moving forward can often times be challenging. Move slow and celebrate small successes.
Recommit to Your Future
Until you get your game back, you will constantly have to recommit to your future, your success, purpose and goals. The hardest part for high achievers is not seeing the results as fast as they would like them. Stay committed and keep moving, your closer than you think.
It's your day! Get up, shake off the dust and get back on your game. Dream, write, blog, podcast, build, network, sing, produce it's what you where meant to do.
